Why are we investing time and money in reviewing our brand identity?
In 26 years, we have revisited our brand identity five times. Why, you might ask?
Investing time and energy in rebranding or refreshing our brand demonstrates our commitment to staying relevant and responsive to the ever-changing digital environment. Initially a company focused solely on website development, we are now a full-suite design agency, prioritising the creation of consistent branding across all business marketing initiatives. Each rebranding effort reflects our proactive approach to adapting to new trends, evolving customer needs, and industry advancements. It also highlights the aspects of our business where we excel and those we find challenging, providing opportunities for meaningful change.
By continuously refining our brand, we ensure it accurately represents our values, goals, and the innovative solutions we offer. This ongoing process keeps us competitive and reinforces our dedication to providing the best possible experience for our clients. Our brand evolution is a testament to our resilience and focus on improvement.
We understand that this process can be overwhelming for clients, especially those running small businesses or part of small communications teams. We are a small business, but like any big business, taking the time to discuss, reflect, and document our values, goals, weaknesses, and strengths is invaluable to our success. Through this process, it was clear our business has evolved, and our current brand no longer reflects the changes we are making towards a more simplified, process-driven, and knowledge-sharing approach. We need our brand make it clear to clients who seek a supportive, knowledgeable, and long-term partner that we are that partner. By enhancing our brand, we aim to attract and retain clients who value our services. In turn we will support their business growth, brand development, and marketing initiatives.
Rebranding marks a fresh beginning as we enter the third stage of our business. It will inspire like-minded clients to collaborate with us and provide opportunities for more satisfying, long-term projects. Our new brand will convey our commitment to helping organizations grow through strong, consistent branding and an effective website, positioning us as a reliable, responsive, and effective long-term partner.
Developing the brand strategy for our rebrand
As most of our existing clients know, all our branding projects start with a Brand Strategy Workshop, which we undertook ourselves after deciding to rebrand. Based on the insights from our workshop, we are developing a new brand look and feel, tagline, and slogan to better reflect our evolving business. Our current brand identity no longer aligns with our simplified, process-driven, and knowledge-sharing approach. Our new brand will embody our purpose of fostering creative brand solutions through a supportive and knowledgeable partnership.
The goals of our rebranding effort are to enhance our current brand, attract and maintain clients who value our services, and appeal to new clients looking for a long-term partner. We strive to create a brand that authentically represents our values and feels strong, yet simple.
Our new brand will express a tone of reliability, responsiveness, effectiveness, cohesiveness, authenticity, and maturity. Our tagline, “Fostering creative brand solutions,” and our slogan, “We partner with you to grow your business through strong, consistent branding and an effective website,” encapsulate our commitment to helping organisations thrive.
